Hey there!

Thanks for stopping by my blog- a place where I share a bit of my photography, a bit of my life, and a lot of me! I am in love with the life that God has provided me. I live with my wonderful husband in central Oklahoma, in the town of Edmond. I am a wife, sister, daughter, and friend. I enjoy my work as a nurse and photographer. I adore sweets, nature, and my pesky (but cute) boxer, Honey. I feel that I am blessed with a passion for photography, and pray that I am able to bless others through it.

Thank you for being here and sharing the experience with me!

2nd Annual Pumpkin Carving Party!

Happy Halloween!
Last Sunday we hosted the 2nd Annual Pumpkin Carving Party in our driveway.
After a rainy weekend, we had absolutely beautiful weather, plenty of pumpkins, and some fabulous friends come together! I hope to continue this tradition, to view last year's party, click here. I also want to thank Deshawna for taking most of the pictures, as I was running around hosting, chatting, carving.. I understand how hard it is to take pictures at your kids birthday parties now! And I esp. have to say thanks because she's a Nikon girl and she shot with my Canon :c)

The scene..

Shannon and Family

Okay, so today has been a catchup day for me.
I uploaded the wrong set of photos on my account and it took up all my space for the month, but I found a way around it today, so I'm catching up on the sessions I've done in the last couple weeks!
This session was actually shoot yesterday. It's my former co-worker Shannon and her beautiful kids. We went to Mitch and played with the Willow and with pumpkins and enjoyed another gorgeous fall evening. Enjoy!

Hall Family Portraits

This is the Hall Family.
I shot Elene and Martin's wedding over a year ago, and a family session of Elene's sister shortly after that. I was excited to get to shoot the family as a whole on a gorgeous Saturday a couple weeks ago. After several locations failed us, we found success at Will Rogers Park in OKC. The family started in their traditional dress, then changed into fall gear. It was all beautiful!

Brooke's Senior Session

This is my best friend's little sister, Brooke. And now I get to sound like the old person I told myself I'd never become, because I knew Brooke back when she was just this big! She was about 10, and now she's a senior in high school.. how can that happen?! Well, just like I said when I was young, it happens. So I documented this time of her life with some senior pictures. Summer and her sister drove down to Edmond and let me take them around to some country locations. Brooke has amazing eyes and a sweet spirit, and my camera loved her :c)

They paved the road to this location, which got me lost, so by the time we got here, it was dark. But I used some off-camera flash and Brooke worked it!
