Hey there!

Thanks for stopping by my blog- a place where I share a bit of my photography, a bit of my life, and a lot of me! I am in love with the life that God has provided me. I live with my wonderful husband in central Oklahoma, in the town of Edmond. I am a wife, sister, daughter, and friend. I enjoy my work as a nurse and photographer. I adore sweets, nature, and my pesky (but cute) boxer, Honey. I feel that I am blessed with a passion for photography, and pray that I am able to bless others through it.

Thank you for being here and sharing the experience with me!

Brett's Senior Session

My oldest little brother, Brett, is now a high school graduate! We drove down to Odessa, TX last weekend to celebrate with him, and while we were down there Brett and I snuck away to take some pics of him with his car. It was high noon in western Texas when we had the time to shoot (which is not my most comfortable setting), but with some patience with Brett (who's not a fan of pictures, but I think since they included his baby- he was a bit more understanding), we got some good shots. Enjoy-

Yes, this is the school from Friday Night Lights...

Jayde's Downtown Senior Session

Here is the rest of Jayde's Senior session. Besides taking some really awesome photos, I also enjoyed watching Jayde as she so comfortably posed in front of the camera and her mom tried to hold back tears watching her beautiful girl. It was a gorgeous afternoon, and the downtown area made the perfect backdrop for this Mustang senior to shine!

Love her smile :c)

Brooke's Senior Session

This is my best friend's little sister, Brooke. And now I get to sound like the old person I told myself I'd never become, because I knew Brooke back when she was just this big! She was about 10, and now she's a senior in high school.. how can that happen?! Well, just like I said when I was young, it happens. So I documented this time of her life with some senior pictures. Summer and her sister drove down to Edmond and let me take them around to some country locations. Brooke has amazing eyes and a sweet spirit, and my camera loved her :c)

They paved the road to this location, which got me lost, so by the time we got here, it was dark. But I used some off-camera flash and Brooke worked it!

Daniel's Senior Session

Meet Daniel. He's a senior this year, so to appease his mom, he ran around downtown OKC with me for some senior portraits. Like my husband, he thought we were done after the second picture.. but I had other plans :c) Daniel is a trooper though, and he survived the session and looked good while doing it, as you'll soon see.

I tried using lighting a little different than usual..

Nothing like using a sweet old mustang as a prop!

These next 2 pictures are what you get when you leave the pants to your suit at home..
