Jackson celebrated his 1st birthday on Sunday, so Saturday we headed to Mitch Park to capture the big event!

The LaRue Family

While in Vegas, I had the opportunity to do a session with 10 month old Braden. This little cutie entertained me through out the trip, so I was excited to finally get him in front of the camera! So excited, that I actually pulled out my Canon for a few shots as Melonie was getting ready for the shoot and Braden was playing in the living room. They ended up being some of my favorites! enjoy-

Chris used to be a firefighter, and Braden's room is decked out in firefighter gear, so I felt this was only appropriate!

Viva Vegas- kind of..

Ray and I just made it back from our Vegas trip today
(Yep, that makes 4 out-of-state trips for me in 2 months!)
We visited our good friends Chris and Melonie who moved out there about 6 months ago. This is a totally awesome couple who are following God's plans, and we really enjoyed just being in their presence! Chris is working as a youth pastor, which is an amazing ministry to have in "Sin City". Any prayers for them, the church, and the city as a whole are much appreciated!
Of course I took a few too many pictures, but to start, here's us on our day of hiking..

A Spring Session

I'm back from Mississippi, and what does Oklahoma greet me with?
A tornado...fabulous. But thankfully, it didn't get close to us here in Edmond.
