It's 2 weeks into us having 2 kids, and so far so good! Eli is a precious baby :c)
As I said in my birth story post, Ray and I were preparing for Armageddon when we prepped to bring a second baby home. We didn't know what to expect when it came to handeling 2, having sleepless nights, and constant baby holding. Thankfully, Eli takes after his dad and makes for a very chill baby. He's sleeping 3.5-4.5 hours at night, can relax by himself (even while awake), and allows us to sit while holding him (unlike another baby I'll leave unmentioned..). We are so grateful that he does more of this,
than this!
And I couldn't be happier with Isaiah's response to being am older brother, he's one proud bro
and is very attentive, but can be appeased with just a few seconds of baby time now that Eli's been around for a few weeks
I snapped this while my friend was over doing newborn pics, precious :c)
This is Eli and his friend, Lorelei, at our second photoshoot. 2 newborns are too precious!
A newborn can attract quite a bit of attention (like how brother is standing guard, despite Landon's mom being right beside him?)
Especially when you're this cute ;c)
My cousin was asking for a comparison pic, this is the same setting and within the first few weeks, but still not the best side-by-side. I'll work on it.
I love this picture of Aunt "Ju-ju" with her nephews
Here's grandma getting some cuddles
With the second child, we've definitely gotten out of the house a lot more! With Isaiah we made a big trip to Mathis Brothers on day 4, with Eli it was a morning at the zoo! (note: I have nothing in my wardrobe for a 4 day postpartum body, probably the most difficult part of getting out!)
Here was our first walk in the double stroller on our first day without Dad home (he originally took 2 weeks off, but we sent him back early- gratefully we have been doing good!)
Eli also got to join the crew for the first time at in impromptu swim party! He was content on the sidelines, for now..
There was more boy madness with the LaRues at Martin Nature Park
He's also content hanging out on the back porch with his family (I love Isaiah's real smile here :c)
I've even been motivated enough to attempt a couple of pintrest toddler activities, this was cornstarch paint, which Isaiah loved! He looks just like his grandma after she paints...
Lovin' this handsome man! God is good :c)

I swear to you, I kept scrolling through this post saying over and over again, "Oh I have to tell her how much I love this picture... oh and this one... oh and this one... ooh and that one too, definitely my favorite..." Ha! Such sweet boys!
