jamie&ben's maternity session

hello!

i'm getting ready to head of to tipton for another year at the tipton church picnic! click the link to see my pics from last year..

but before i go, i watned to share jamie and ben's maternity session that was shot on sunday at will rogers park in okc. jamie and ben have been married 4 years, and will be welcoming corbin into their famliy sometime in october. jamie is all belly right now, which makes for some stinkin' cute pics! check 'em out

ps.. is that not just a perfect prego belly? and i also want to take this time to appologize to all those who don't like to look at prego belly's, like my husband..

poop patrol

chasing geese!

haha. i snagged this shot during a maternity session for jamie and ben (post soon to come). these geese were everywhere, creating tiny landmines i'm not used to looking for when posing people and lying on the ground for my shots! but i thought i would share this fun pic.

on a different note, when i started this short post, it was not raining. then some lighting caught my eye, and before i could get my dog inside, a torrential downpour rained down outside. this is how it was yesterday on my drive to work. i didn't have my windshield wipers on, then in the next second i had to turn them on full blast, then 20 seconds later, they were off.

my iphone photos

in my last post, i mentioned loving my iphone.

for all of you who don't have one, i'm not trying to rub it in, there's just not a whole lot that's not to love! but the thing i've been most excited about, is not the instant internet, mobile mapquest, or appealing apps (which are all great), but its the carry-around camera! for those who don't know, since my freshman year of college, i have lost 6 point-and-shoot cameras, and the only reason the number is that high is because i have a husband who likes to spoil me. but after 6 (six!) we had to call it quits. by this point i already had my dslr, but that usually isn't in my pocket for those spur of the moment occasions, it can't fit in a purse for a night out, and it def. stands out in a crowd. so, after over a week with my iphone, now i can share some of my daily life with you!

one of the first pictures i took on my phone, this was on my drive to work in the morning. there's about 2 weeks out of the enitre year when i get to see the sunrise on my way to work, and i love those 2 weeks!

my family session

does anyone else have this problem?

i like a clean closet, but i also get very lazy when it's getting close to bedtime. so if my closet is clean, i will usually hang up my clothes, to keep it clean, but if i let one article of clothing hit the floor, then it's all over. there's no point in hanging up the next piece of clothing if there's already something on the floor, so i give the floor article a buddy to be with. that continues until i can't stand it, clean it all up, then start the process over.

well that's what i feel like this blog has been lately. i've wanted to blog since the day i got my iphone (which i'm lovin'), but my posts just keep getting 'thrown on the floor' for the next day. well it's clean up day.. lucky you!

and there's no better way to start again than with family, so here's some a family session i took of my dad, stepmom, and my siblings when i was in texas last month. enjoy!

this is the oldest of the 3, brett, who will be 16 next month! he reminds me of myself in a lot of ways. i snagged this picture while trying to get the right settings for an extreme backlit pic, but i really like his expression here.. he's getting so old!! ;c)

a bridal learning session

here i go appologizing again.

i know i've been posting more 'life' posts than 'photography', and that all the posts have been few and far between, but with vacationing taking us out of town, and work occupying every day we're in town.. i've been busy. plus, my photoshop has been acting up.. so i can't save my edited pics. so that means i'm posting some pictures i took a couple weeks ago from a 'teaching' session our talented teacher creel held for us at the botanical gardens. our models were an already married couple from sapulpa, and on of our pl.tv members, chainey (even though i love her pics, she's a beautiful bride, i'll have to wait until after her wedding in a couple months to share them with you..). onto my unedited, uncolorcorrected, unaltered pictures (now you can appreciate what photoshop can do!)
