Ghana, here we come!

Hello!
I know that I have been absent for most of this month, and now I'm here to warn you that I will be absent for the remainder of this month!
The date has finally arrived for Ray and I to make the jump across the Atlantic to his native land, Ghana (see map above). We will be visiting his mom and family for 2 weeks in Accra, the capitol city of Ghana. I will not be answering emails or probably blogging during that time, but I will for sure share the images that I capture once I get back!
As for our trip, please pray for safe travels and that our eyes are open to opportunity to witness and be a light. God is so good, and I don't want this to just be a vacation where we get away from life and all the hassles, but one where we seek Him and His direction. This is a great opportunity for Ray and I to spend 2 full weeks together, and we are super excited (although Ray doesn't show it very well... such is a man :c)

I pray that you all have a very happy Thanksgiving and that you enjoy time with your family as well!

ps. For those who are worried about Honey, she will be well taken care of by our roommate Art. She will also be getting play dates with Reggie so she can run off all her energy.. but I know she's going to miss our cuddling sessions (as I'm sure I will as well)..
