Snow Day!

Happy Snow Day!! From what I've heard, most of the country is looking like the scene below. We enjoyed a day home with the entire family today, but had to sneak out around noon for a romp in the snow! I bargained for this sled at a garage sale last year, I told they guy it would probably just sit in my attic un-used, but I was happy to be wrong! Eli joined us for some quick pictures, but as you can tell he wasn't a big fan (he was a little happier in his mom's arms). Isaiah loves the snow, and enjoyed being pulled in the sled, stomping in snow and puddles, throwing snowballs, and helping shovel the driveway.

Fall Mini Sessions

It's officially done (and has been for over a week, just now getting to blog!).  My big day of mini sessions has been shot, edited, and put out to everyone. We couldn't have had a more beautiful fall day and everything at Sorgham Mills Tree farm was just fabulous (big shout out to the owners for being so great to us!). Everyone showed up on time and the session ran very smoothly, with the occasional 2 year old melt-down... mine included! I'd have to say the most stressful time of the day was during my own family's session, thanks to my friend Chainey for shooting for us. Sadly her camera and images from the day were later stolen that night :c( But at the end I included a shot that I got that fully describes the fun..

On to my beautiful clients. I was nervous about shooting in a 25 minute times frame, but ended up with some great pics for everyone, so glad to have such amazing clients, enjoy-

So here is my family, with a defiant 2 year old enjoying his gummy bear up front, and the reaction from the family in the back.. classic! The only part of the day more fun than my own family's session was having to tell my husband that I put a hole in the spoiler of the Highlander after backing into a dead tree branch.. yay..
