my cousin drew and his girlfriend sadie will be expecting their first child in about a month. so we stepped behind my grandparents house and took the opportunity to document this special time in their lives.. enjoy!

the evidence

ray and i enjoyed our saturday.

we started with house and yard work, spent some time at backwoods, climbed at rocktown, and checked out my sister's new (almost) house. when we arrived home we found this...

the evidence was all over... green fluff on honey's lips, collar, and hair. ray bought this comfy pad for honey last night (against my recommendations, may i say..), and this was honey's first time to stay with it.. wonderful..

my memorial fishing tourney

so as you know, i spent my memorial day weekend in kansas at a family fishing tournament.

it was exciting because my entire family was able to be there for this! we ate, we drank, we fished, and we enjoyed.

here's what the scene looked like when we arrived on sat. night

and this was a photo i snapped while walking back from the lake, i was holding the camera out in front, not looking, and it captured these beautiful rays! my cousin saw the pic and wanted a canvas print right away.. i can't wait to see it! (don't worry, i'll be fixing the blur on the upper right)

ooooooo... i'm so excited!

we had a fabulous weekend in tipton, great food, great family, and although ray and i didn't catch and fish in the fishing tourney, we enjoyed the amazing weather! i'll share more when i post the pics.

i'm also excited that i got to spend last night with my fabulous friends and an impromptu dinner. ray rocked the grill with his steaks and chicken, and i got to make a homemade apple pie in an adorable apron, it was fabulous :c)

aaand, i'm stoked about the bridal pics i took last week, and finished editing yesterday. here's the scoop, 1 beautiful bride, 2 good friends, 600 some odd pictures, and 6 straight hours of editing. crazy, yes. fabulous, oh yeah. but, since the wedding won't be until next month, you get this little sneak peak.
